First of all, unconditional love doesn't exist.
If it did, then we wouldn't know who was right for us and who wasn't. What is mistaken for unconditional love is usually someone fitting in with our conditions. To use an extreme example: Say I'm madly in love with someone but I find out they love to kick puppies when I'm not around and do not plan on giving it up. I'm against puppy kicking on principle so I'd dump them. That doesn't mean I didn't love them in the first place, but we all have our limits. Some are bigger and some are smaller, but they are there. So if you don't want to be with a pot smoker, it's your choice. You'll probably both be happier with someone else.
